Feel like a little Italian? Fraticelli’s Italian Grill brings down-home Italian flavours to its recently opened second Ontario location in Burlington.
“We’re very excited to be able to bring our great food and atmosphere to the community of Burlington,” said Mehvish Mian, who owns the Burlington location along with Shaheryar Mian and Shahrukh Mian.
They’re driven by the principle: “to make an impression”, or as the Italian’s say “fare una bella figura.”
Delicious entrees are inspired by the best that Italy’s regions, from spaghetti carbonara made with handmade noodles, smoked bacon and shaved parmesan to tender chicken or veal piccata in a savoury lemon sauce. Pizza lovers will delight in a variety of Napoletana thin crust, stone baked pizzas. Whatever your flavour, Fraticelli’s has something on the menu.
The elegant and upscale yet relaxed atmosphere features an open-concept kitchen and lounge area. Contemporary drum lights hang over dark wood tables. Vibrant red accents add a little drama. Funky pendant-style light bulb shaped lighting contrasts the arched stone façades. Floor-to-ceiling drapes add a whimsical and romantic touch.
For those that want to take it outdoors, the patio provides plenty of seating and a crackling fire pit to warm up the cool fall evenings. Make a night of it with live music in the lounge on a Saturday night.
Hungry? Get out there and taste it for yourself! From now until October 17, the Burlington location will contribute $1.00 from each pizza order to the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington. Grab a pizza for a great cause!
