Average Home Price in Burlington Breaks The $500,000 Mark!

September Burlington Real Estate market holds an impressive number. The average home price was $501,650. Yup… We actually broke the $500,000 mark.

On the flip side, judging by the numbers below, the Burlington Real Estate market is slowing down, right? Wrong! Let’s dive into the numbers.

Is The Burlington Real Estate Market Good or Bad?

If you just look at the 2013 statistics, the “number of homes” sold is consistently decreasing as the months tick away. As a sceptical person, you may say, “See, I knew the market was going to crash”.

But, if you take a look at the 2012 numbers, you may see a different story. You can say, “The Burlington market is picking up. In September 2012, 204 homes sold, while 256 homes sold in September 2013”.

I always tell people, to look at the overall picture to determine what the Burlington market is doing. You shouldn’t just compare month-to-month numbers. You must also look at history and compare.

The Verdict!

My prediction? Burlington Real Estate is still a sound investment. Home prices may seem hight today but just wait to see where they will be 10 years from now.
