Either way, there is plenty of talent to take in this weekend down at Spencer Smith Park and throughout downtown Burlington. And it’s all free!

Festival Stages

Check out all the musical action at the following stages:

  • Festival Stage – the largest stage, where the headliners perform, right at the Waterfront.
  • OLG Stage – the second largest stage, located at the west end of the Waterfront. There’s a licensed area where you can enjoy blues, country and rock performances.
  • Cogeco Stage – Civic Square at City Hall, an intimate setting with tables, chairs and a wine garden (yes, please!).
  • Burlington Hyundai Stage – Located behind the Waterfront hotel, this stage showcases local talent.
  • Family Zone – in the gazebo area at the Waterfront. This area is kid-friendly with family entertainment.
  • Downtown Streetfest – from Lakeshore to Caroline. Music and dance performances, outdoor patios, sidewalk sales, a beach party and live music.

Getting There

Check here for all the information you’ll need to find your way to the festival, including where and when you can park your bike, and information on road closures. Shuttle service is available from the Burlington Fairview GO Station and at just $3 per person round trip (kids 5 and under are free), this is probably your best option.

Burlington should be proud to host such fantastic world-class festivals, right here in our backyard (or on our lake shore, as the case may be). Sound of Music Festival is truly a premiere event and the place to be this coming weekend!

Which artist or band are you most looking forward to seeing?
