City of Burlington’s Children’s Festival

For all the kids and kids-at-heart out there, you’ll be happy to know that the 23rd annual City of Burlington’s Children’s Festival is back in town this weekend!

The Children’s Festival is yet another fantastic free festival that Burlington hosts, and this one has plenty of great family-friendly activities to enjoy. This year’s festival features a superhero theme!

Two Days of Fun!

The excitement kicks off on Saturday, August 16, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Beachway Park and Pavilion and continues on Sunday, August 17, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Spencer Smith Park.

Saturday will feature the famous sand-sculpting contest, as well as sand-sculpting demonstrations by sand-sculpting masters Sandi “Castle” Stirling and Nick Blandin (North American sand sculpting award winners), and Raymond Poirier. If you’d like to try your hand at sand sculpting, you can register at any city facility or at RecExpress, or register on-site (space is limited). You’ll also have a chance to vote for the People’s Choice Award.

More free Saturday fun will include:
