Or maybe you’ve had a great day of shopping and need the perfect place to refuel – Earls Burlington is the place to go!
While Earls is still a relative newcomer to Ontario, and more specifically, to the city of Burlington, the restaurant has been serving up its famous beer and burgers since 1982. This family-owned restaurant has more than 60 locations across Canada and the United States.
Earls’ casual style has changed over the years, and now you’ll find a relaxing, yet upscale environment. The original restaurants were decorated with paper maché penguins and the servers wore blue jeans, white dress shirts and a funky tie. Today, the décor is modern and sophisticated, and the servers have swapped their blue jeans for something a little classier.
So, what’s on the menu at Earls? Many classic items have remained on Earls’ menu since the beginning. Some of the old favourites are:
Two of my favourite newer items are the Santa Fe Chicken Salad and the Chicken, Brie + Fig Sandwich. The combination of flavours and textures in these two dishes will make your mouth water!
You’ll find great seasonal choices on the feature menu and don’t forget to order a pint of Earls’ famous Rhino beer to wash it all down!
Or, choose one of the daily drink specials. My personal favourite is Margarita Mondays. I remember hot summer afternoons on an Earls’ patio in Edmonton, when you could order a margarita for $2 and where the bartenders could hardly keep up with the demand. And just in case you’re getting the wrong idea about my drinking habits, I was the one serving the margaritas, not drinking them!
Earls has always been committed to serving delicious fresh food and drinks. Add in really great service and an inviting atmosphere, and Earls Burlington will soon be your favourite lunch or dinner destination. The secret is the little bit of Soul that they add to everything they do!
