Canada’s Largest Ribfest is back in town, folks! Does Burlington host some fabulous festivals, or what?
In its 18th year, Canada’s Largest Ribfest has built a reputation as being one of the leading annual events in the GTA. This family-friendly event brings 18 Ribber Teams from across North America to the beautiful waterfront in Burlington, Ontario, to compete for the title of Best Ribs.

More than 150,000 people from Burlington and beyond are expected to gather at Spencer Smith Park on the Labour Day Weekend to sample delicious ribs, hear live music and enjoy some family-oriented activities. Did you know that approximately 150,000 pounds of ribs will be served over the weekend?
Ribfest began in 1995 by the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore. As a true community event, proceeds from Ribfest go directly back into the community to benefit a variety of important causes.
Burlington’s waterfront is THE destination for the last weekend of summer. Hours of operation are 11am-11pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 11am-8pm on Monday.
