There’s lots of action happening on Saturdays this summer in downtown Burlington!
With the Sound of Music Festival still 11 long months away, don’t despair. There are plenty of great live music performances to be found in Burlington!
The series kicked off on June 22 with Canadian Idol Winner Brian Melo, a local favourite. Next up was Danielle Beaudin, another local talent, then Emily Kemp, Glenn Groves and Charissa Pavlou, the 2009 Grand Champion of the CNE’s Rising Star Talent Competition.
The performances continue until the Labour Day weekend with the following talent:

How’s that for catchy? I’m sure there will be more than a few hands clapping and a few feet stomping at Civic Square this Saturday!
Burlington continues to establish itself as a hot spot to check out new and upcoming talent. Saturdays in the Square is yet another venue for these talented musicians to make their voices heard. Make sure you’re there to show your support for these fabulous free performances.
What could be better than enjoying the great outdoors while listening to some fabulous local talent? Grab your lawn chair and your loved ones, and get down to Civic Square on Saturdays. Performances are 11am – 2pm.
And when the show is over, there’s lots more exploring, shopping and eating to be done in downtown Burlington!
