This Magic Moment Concert is taking place at Nelson Park (4181 New Street) from 2-10pm and profits support Halton Heroes.

This first-of-its kind concert promises a full afternoon and evening of live, nostalgia-inducing music, food vendors, a licensed area and a vintage car show. What’s not to love?

Halton Heroes provides support and funds to the families of fallen or seriously injured members of the Halton Police Service, who don’t receive any short-term financial assistance.

There’s a fantastic line-up of entertainment throughout the day, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets and let the music take you back.

The excitement actually starts the day before, with The Prelude to the Magic VIP Soiree and Champagne Reception at Burlington’s Waterfront Hotel. This exclusive and elegant affair gives you the chance to experience a private performance by The Drifters, a photo of you with the band, and a ticket to Saturday’s all day concert. Come enjoy some hors d’oeuvres and make a bid in the silent auction. Tickets are available here.

You can also support the Halton Heroes by taking part in the online auction, which closes on September 15. The Halton Heroes Gala takes place at the Burlington Convention Centre on September 20 and promises to be a special evening to salute Halton’s heroes.

Nelson Park is the place to be this Saturday in Burlington. Music lovers of all ages will find themselves singing and dancing along to some great favourites from the past. This Magic Moment is the perfect way to spend a late summer’s day here in Burlington.
