WEEKEND EVENTS IN BURLINGTON: JUNE 30 – JULY 2, 2017

It’s the Sesquicentennial!!

THIS is what we are celebrating. And THIS is how we are celebrating!

Go out and pay tribute to your Canada! Put on your funny headband, have the barbeque, jump off the dock, have a beer…celebrate everything that makes us Canadian.

We have the best of everything that Canada has to offer right here. But I don’t have to sing Burlington’s praises…I do that every week. But we should take note, and we should celebrate our good fortune!

Enjoy one of the many Love my Hood parties in town. If your own neighbourhood doesn’t have one going on, find one to (politely) crash. And bring a little something bubbly…it’s the Canadian thing to do.

Burlington Taxi is offering the chance of $1.50 rides on Canada Day! Use their app to book, and if a Canada 150 car picks you up, your ride is only $1.50!

And finally, I came across this gem on YouTube…if you have some time…it really is a nice tribute to our beautiful country.

Happy Canada’s Birthday!
